Aspiring Author Establish Yourself As An Expert

Aspiring Author Establish Yourself As An Expert

Let me ask you these questions:

Do you find that your friends and casual acquittances are not taking you seriously when you tell them you are writing a book?

Maybe you are not sure of yourself or you do not know where to begin.

A lack of confidence in yourself shows on the outside.  You must change what is on the inside so confidence projects on the outside.  This is the first step.

Are you are finding it difficult to share your message?

What do you do when nobody is paying attention to you?

Let us look at this in a different way.  Sometimes, people who you are familiar with do not see the gems within you and it causes discouragement.  What do you do?  You dim your knowledge just to fit in.

Aspiring Author, it is perfectly okay to show your brilliance no matter what.

I believe everyone has a story that can be of great value to others.  Everyone has knowledge that is worth sharing with others to solve a problem or avoid a situation.

Do you know there are 63,000 Google searches every second of every day?  People are looking for information in a condensed format.

People live hectic lives with careers, maintaining a household, attending their children’s’ activities and not to mention homework and chores.   The last thing a person wants to do is search for information over the internet.

People are busy living their lives just like you and me.   The best part is you as an Aspiring Author have an opportunity to establish yourself as an expert.

Here are a few tips to get you started as an authority in your field:

1.  Be disruptive – Challenge the way people ordinarily think.  You may be thinking there are many people writing on your subject.  And I say, “SO WHAT!”

Understand your voice through your writing.  Let your voice be heard.  The uniqueness of your angle and approach is awesome.  The tone of your voice through your writing to your audience connects with them.

You are not the voice for everybody, but you are the voice for somebody.  People are waiting for your voice and personality.  Challenge their transformation.

Let them see what you see for them on the other side of their transformation.

2.  Be authoritative – Know what you are talking about.  Be authentic. Give your audience an easy win.  Introduce to them something that will bring immediate results.

Give your audience hope to look forward to a transformation.  Inspire your audience through your story to take the next step with you.

You are a commended presence to direct your audience out of a situation or instruct them to try another method to bring transformation.

Yes, people want to see results because they are tired of the hype and nothing happens. Does this resonate with you being tired of the hype?

3.   Write a book, do a Facebook and/or YouTube Live, create a podcast, write articles, or blog about your expertise in your industry.

People are looking for your expertise.

4.   Answer the questions your audience is asking.  It makes it personal when your audience thinks you are reading their email.

You are delivering solutions to your audience’s pain. This is something your audience is dealing with at the present time.

5.  Provide value helping your audience develop their resources.

Help someone succeed by giving them more than they expected.  Do not ever be afraid to go the extra mile.  People who are cautious with their information does not have much to teach because they refuse to develop their resources to the next levels.

Aspiring Author, concentrate on serving your audience.  Serve so big that when they are looking for a solution your name becomes an authentic household name.  Show up everywhere your audience is hanging out.

I hope this post has brought great benefits to your life.
